Movie Title: Happy Together (1997) 

This Hong Kong romance film follows the turbulent relationship between a gay couple.

Ho Po-Wing and Lai Yiu-Fai travel to Buenos Aires, in hopes to rekindle their relationship. Sex, arguments, love, and hate, all plague this film. Director Wong Kar Wai emphasized that he didn’t want his movie to be labeled as a “gay film.” Instead, it is intended to be a romance story about human relations, communications, and intimacy. Certainly an interesting take.
