The entire cast of “The Politician” (2019-present)
When The Politician had a time jump between the first and second season, it certainly helped the believability of the characters’ ages, but almost everyone was playing much younger in season one. And yes, that brings us back to our man Ben Platt who was 26 playing an 18-year-old (and people did not seem to have much to say about it then.) His costars – all of whom were also playing high school seniors were just as bad. In season one, Rahne Jones was 32, Laura Dreyfuss and Theo Germaine were 31, David Corenswet was 26, Zoey Deutch and Lucy Boynton were 25 and Julia Schlaepfer was 24.
