Check out our winner predictions below and view all of this year’s nominees here.
Favorite Kids’ TV Show: “A Series of Unfortunate Events,” “BUNK’D,” “Henry Danger,” “Power Rangers Beast Morphers, Raven’s Home
Who We Think Will Win: Henry Danger of course! The hit comedy series is one of the network’s longest and successful series by hitting over 100 episodes and landing a new spinoff series Danger Force. The show has won the orange blimp in the past, and there’s no denying that they will again on Saturday night.
Favorite Family TV Show: Fuller House, Modern Family, Stranger Things, The Big Bang Theory, The Flash, Young Sheldon
Who We Think Will Win: Who doesn’t love Fuller House? The original series Full House was praised by many generations, and Fuller House is one of the few series that you can binge with loved ones that everyone will enjoy. Kids, parents, and grandparents definitely casted their votes, and we believe it will help them out in the end.
Favorite Reality Show: America’s Got Talent, American Ninja Warrior, America’s Funniest Home Videos, MasterChef Junior, The Masked Singer, The Voice
Who We Think Will Win: I mean… have you seen The Masked Singer? The show is SO fun to watch!
Favorite TV Host: Ellen DeGeneres, John Cena, Nick Cannon, Ryan Seacrest, Terry Crews, Tiffany Haddish
Who We Think Will Win: Ellen DeGeneres is one of the biggest and most loved hosts of all time. The TV icon is no stranger to this award and will certainly be adding another orange blimp to her collection on Saturday.
Favorite Animated Series: ALVINNN!!! and The Chipmunks, SpongeBob SquarePants, Teen Titans Go!, The Amazing World of Gumball, The Loud House, The Simpsons
Who We Think Will Win: SpongeBob SquarePants, need we say more? The series has been on Nickelodeon for more than twenty years and it doesn’t look like its going anywhere anytime soon.
Favorite Female TV Star: Candace Cameron Bure (Fuller House), Ella Anderson (Henry Danger), Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things), Peyton List (Bunk’d), Raven-Symoné (Raven’s Home), Riele Downs (Henry Danger)
Who We Think Will Win: Millie Bobby Brown won this award in 2018 and lost in 2019 to queen Zendaya. Millie and her fans will be stronger than ever when it comes to voting this year, and this win would be more than deserved on Saturday.
Favorite Male TV Star: Abraham Rodriguez (Power Rangers Beast Morphers), Caleb McLaughlin (Stranger Things), Jace Norman (Henry Danger), Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory), Joshua Bassett (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series), Karan Brar (BUNK’D)
Who We Think Will Win: Jace Norman is the total king of Nickelodeon, and we think fans will have voted like crazy to honor the Henry Danger star once more with the network’s top actor honor!
Favorite Movie Aladdin, Avengers: Endgame, Captain Marvel, Jumanji: The Next Level, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker
Who We Think Will Win: Avengers: Endgame crushed the box office this year, and we can’t wait to see what the cast has in store for their acceptance speech. It’s not even a competition when Avengers is in this category!
Favorite Movie Actress: Angelina Jolie (Maleficent: Mistress of Evil), Brie Larson (Captain Marvel; Avengers: Endgame), Dove Cameron (Descendants 3), Scarlett Johansson (Avengers: Endgame), Taylor Swift (Cats), Zendaya (Spiderman: Far From Home)
Who We Think Will Win: Dove Cameron has grown so much since we were first introduced to her on Disney Channel’s Liv & Maddie in 2013. Absolutely killing it in the acting world, Dove Cameron proved that she’s more than just a Disney star in the last installment of the franchise series, and it deserves to be recognized with an orange blimp.
Favorite Movie Actor: Chris Evans (Avengers: Endgame), Chris Hemsworth (Men in Black: International), Dwayne Johnson (Jumanji: The Next Level), Kevin Hart (Jumanji: The Next Level), Tom Holland (Spider-Man: Far From Home), Will Smith (Aladdin)
Who We Think Will Win: This award will most likely be given to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. While many are qualified and deserving in this category, it’s hard to compete with the beloved actor. From parents to little kids, everyone loves “The Rock” – we’re giving this one to him.
Favorite Superhero: Brie Larson (Captain Marvel, Captain Marvel; Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame); Chris Evans (Captain America, Avengers: Endgame); Chris Hemsworth (Thor, Avengers: Endgame); Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man, Avengers: Endgame); Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow, Avengers: Endgame); Tom Holland (Spider-Man, Spider-Man: Far From Home; Spider-Man, Avengers: Endgame)
Who We Think Will Win: 2020 is the year of the female superheroes! We have a feeling this award is either going to Brie Larson for her role in Captain Marvel or Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow in Avengers: Endgame.
Favorite Animated Movie: Frozen 2, The Angry Birds Movie 2, The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Party, The Lion King, The Secret Life of Pets 2, Toy Story 4
Who We Think Will Win: Frozen 2 was the animated movie of the year! With both Kristen Bell AND Josh Gad making appearances in the show, we could only imagine what their acceptance speeches will be like.
Favorite Female Voice From An Animated Movie: Beyoncé (Nala, The Lion King); Idina Menzel (Elsa, Frozen 2); Kristen Bell (Anna, Frozen 2); Tiffany Haddish (Daisy, The Secret Life of Pets 2; Queen Watevra Wa’Nabi, The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part)
Who We Think Will Win: Kristen Bell captured hearts as the voice of Anna in Frozen, and had done it again for Frozen 2. We have no doubts that she will bring home the orange blimp for “Favorite Female Voice From An Animated Movie.”
Favorite Male Voice from an Animated Movie: Chris Pratt (Emmet Brickowski / Rex Dangervest, The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part); Josh Gad (Olaf, Frozen 2); Kevin Hart (Snowball, The Secret Life of Pets 2); Tom Hanks (Woody, Toy Story 4)
Who We Think Will Win: Josh Gad is Olaf. Olaf is Josh Gad. Need we say more?
Favorite Female Artist: Ariana Grande, Beyoncé, Billlie Eilish, Katy Perry, Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift
Who We Think Will Win: Such bad-ass ladies are up for a blimp in this category this year! If we had to choose a winner, it would be Ariana Grande. After the release of her new albums sweetener and thank you next last year, how could she NOT be our (and your) favorite female artist out there right now?
Favorite Male Artist: Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Lil Nas X, Marshmello, Post Malone, Shawn Mendes
Who We Think Will Win: Justin Bieber made his return to music after a five year hiatus with his new album Intentions, and the first half of 2020 was his year. While we love every artist (and their songs) nominated in this category, we think the Biebs will make it out on top.
Favorite Music Group: BTS, Fall Out Boy, Jonas Brothers, Maroon 5, Panic! At The Disco, The Chainsmokers
Who We Think Will Win: If it’s a fan-voted award and BTS is nominated, don’t even get your hopes up. The BTS Army is unstoppable and will earn the guys another orange blimp at the 2020 KCAs on Saturday.
Favorite Song: “7 rings” – Ariana Grande, “bad guy” – Billie Eilish, “Memories – Maroon 5, “Old Town Road” – Lil Nas X, Sucker – Jonas Brothers, “You Need to Calm Down” – Taylor Swift
Who We Think Will Win: This is SUCH a hard category — every song was at the top of our playlists this! While it was so hard to choose, we just have that feeling that Billie Eilish’s “bad guy” will be taking home the blimp this year.
Favorite Music Collaboration: “10,000 Hours” – Justin Bieber and Dan + Shay; “I Don’t Care” – Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber; “ME!” – Taylor Swift featuring Brendan Urie; “Old Town Road (Remix)” – Lil Nas X feat. Billy Ray Cyrus; “Señorita” – Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello; “Sunflower” – Post Malone and Swae Lee
Who We Think Will Win: “Senorita” – Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello. Need we say more? The real-life couple literally broke the Internet after dropping the collab last year and have performed the romantic pop tune at almost every award show in 2019. Both Shawn and Camila are quarantining together in Miami, and we would LOVE to see them accept the orange blimp together at the KCAs this year.
Favorite Breakout Artist: City Girls, DaBaby, Lewis Capaldi, Lil Nas X, Lizzo, Megan Thee Stallion
Who We Think Will Win: This is a tough one, but 2019-2020 had Lil Nas X and Lizzo’s names all over it. They dominated the charts and every award show, and we feel that they will do that same at the KCAs this Saturday. It’s going to be a close race and we can’t wait to see who actually wins.
Favorite Global Music Star: BTS (Asia); Dua Lipa (UK), J Balvin (Latin America); Rosalía (Europe); Sho Madjozi (Africa); Taylor Swift (North America); Tones and I (Australia)
Who We Think Will Win: Every artist in this category has millions of fans all over the world, but in the end, the BTS Army never disappoints. Asia’s BTS will hands down win Favorite Global Music Star.
Favorite Male Social Star: Coyote Peterson, David Dobrik, Dolan Twins, Dude Perfect, MrBeast, Ryan’s World
Who We Think Will Win: There’s no stopping David Dobrik when it comes to social media! The Internet personality has 17.1 million YouTube subscribers, 15.1 million TikTok followers and 12.5 million Instagram followers, making him the king of this category.
Favorite Female Social Star: Annie LeBlanc, Emma Chamberlain, Lilly Singh, Liza Koshy, Miranda Sings, Merrell Twins
Who We Think Will Win: Like David Dobrik, Annie LeBlanc is the queen of social media! With over 15.7 million TikTok followers, 8.7 million Instagram followers, 3.86 million YouTube subscribers and a Nickelodeon show with her sister Hayley, this award has Annie’s name written all over it.
Favorite Gamer: DanTDM; GamerGirl; Ninja; PrestonPlayz; SSSniperWolf
Who We Think Will Win: SSSniperWolf is so badass and the best gamer out there right now. She’s definitely going to win this award on Saturday!
Favorite Video Game: Fortnite; Mario Kart Tour; Minecraft; Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Who We Think Will Win: Fortnite is obviously going to win this category! It’s one of the most popular games with both boys and girls and there’s no denying that it will be taking home the orange blimp on Saturday.
Favorite Social Music Star: Asher Angel, Blanco Brown, Johnny Orlando; JoJo Siwa; Mackenzie Ziegler; Max and Harvey
Who We Think Will Win: Each of these artists are super talented and put out super catchy music on YouTube, however, we think Nickelodeon’s own JoJo Siwa will be taking home yet another blimp at the KCAs this year. JoJo is the new reigning queen of the KCAs, and is also expected to discover slime secretly placed in every area of her home throughout the show.
Favorite Female Sports Star: Alex Morgan; Lindsey Vonn; Megan Rapinoe; Naomi Osaka; Serena Williams; Simone Biles
Who We Think Will Win: Alex Morgan has her name written all over this category! After bringing the Women’s US Soccer Team to the gold medal position at FIFA Women’s World Cup in France last summer, Morgan proves how badass she really is and is an inspiration to females worldwide.
Favorite Male Sports Star: Cristiano Ronaldo; LeBron James; Patrick Mahomes; Shaun White; Stephen Curry; Tom Brady
Who We Think Will Win: 2020 was such a standout year for Patrick Mahomes. The 24-year-old brought the Kansas City Chiefs to Super Bowl LIV back in February, where the NFL team ended a 50 year drought with a huge win over quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and the San Francisco 49ers. If that doesn’t instantly earn Mahomes an orange blimp, then I don’t know what does.
