Alan Walker Teams Up with Sofia Carson, K-391, and CORSAK for “Different World”

When you watch the news, what do you feel? Do the butterflies in your stomach flutter with hope, or are you instantly terrified and filled with dread when encountering the harsh realities of the world? If there’s one thing I have learned lately, it’s that hope and hopelessness can exist simultaneously surprisingly easily — and it’s important not to let the negativity tip the balance and win out. To drive that message home in beautiful song form, DJ and producer Alan Walker has teamed up with Sofia CarsonK-391, and CORSAK for a powerful track called “Different World.”

In the song, and its accompanying video, we are forced to confront that the fate of the world, for a moment, can look bleak. The lyric video shows very real scenes of polluted oceans, melting ice caps, plastic waste, and more horrifyingly sad truths about what the earth is going through. But, as the song makes clear, each of us have the power to work toward a different reality. We don’t have to accept that our present is also our future.

“I am blessed to have a voice that can spread the important message behind it, and I truly believe that together we can create a Different World,” Alan Walker shared in timing with the release.

Sofia Carson added: “I feel privileged to collaborate with Alan and honored to be the voice of ‘Different World’. He is an artist that I admire not only for his incredible talent, but for his heart. Alan Walker, thank you for bravely using your voice to empower this generation to create a different world than the one we are living in. To inspire change, and to inspire, above all, HOPE. Here’s to creating a Different World together.”
