Power couple, Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez, just surprised fans everywhere! Sources revealed they have called off their two-year engagement.
An article from People reveals that sources claim that the split between the pair was a “long time coming.” The source also confessed to People that “they are tied in their business worlds so it’s not a cut and dry break up. It’s taken a while for them to even think about untangling it all.”
The pair were last seen together on March 1st in the Dominican Republic, where Lopez is currently shooting a film. A source for Page Six revealed that Rodriguez is back in Miami now getting ready for baseball season while Lopez is still in the Caribbean filming.

While there has been no official word from either of the pair, Rodriguez posted a photo last Friday which people have speculated is a hint that he is now single. The athlete posted on Instagram a solo photo of him on a yacht with the caption: “Don’t mind me, just taking a sail-fie. What are your plans for the weekend?”
Rodriguez and Lopez got together back in March of 2017, then got engaged two years later in 2019. The couple had to postpone their wedding twice, due to the Coronavirus. Maybe it was a sign from the universe to hold off on their wedding.
