Alli Simpson Talks New Music, Funny Moment with Nick Jonas & More

From jetsetting across the globe for top-notch hosting gigs to recording music and working on fashion campaigns, Alli Simpson is one busy gal. Somewhere in between her busy schedule, Simpson sat down with Celeb Secrets to talk about all of her upcoming projects.

The first on her list? New music! Simpson will be releasing two new tracks this month titled “I Won’t Remember You Tomorrow” and “Material Boy.”

“‘I Won’t Remember You Tomorrow’ is a breakup song which I know everyone is going to be able to relate to. It’s basically a slow song with just me and the guitar which is really nice to strip it back a little bit since I grew up playing guitar with my family,” Simpson said.

“‘Material Boy’ is about a material boy (laughs). It’s a good, relatable song; it’s an upbeat song that we can dance to, so I wanted to sort of show the two sides of music that I’m really into with these two new tracks.”

Following the new music, Alli will be hosting a new digital series The ShareSpace. For The ShareSpace, Alli will be seen as the co-host on Sony Music Australia’s newest music competition series on YouTube. Filmed over the course of 30 days, ‘The Talent’ on the show will be presented with various challenges, collaborative opportunities and developmental activities designed to arm them with skills for their future careers.  They will be guided by a group of industry experts and local and international artists who will provide invaluable insights into today’s music industry.

In addition to talking about her upcoming projects, Alli dished on her love for Frank Sinatra and reminisced on her funniest encounter ever with Nick Jonas (seriously, its hilarious). Watch the full interview below and make sure to keep up with Ali by following her on Instagram at @allisimpson.
