American Blonde is gearing up for the music video release for their new single “Broke Bridesmaid,” and Celeb Secrets has your first look at the fun new visual that’s an absolute must-see.
The sister duo, who released the light-hearted, funny song about how expensive the wedding industry can be, tells Celeb Secrets that “Broke Bridesmaid” is a quirky, relatable anthem for anyone who’s ever had to budget for bridesmaid duties. According to band members Nata and Tinka, it’s for “all the bridesmaids out there struggling to do the most for their beloved bestie brides.”
“‘Broke Bridesmaid’ is a light-hearted, funny song about how expensive the wedding industry can be – especially when you are a bridesmaid and want to support your friend/sister getting married in every way possible!” Nata shares with Celeb Secrets exclusively. “Tinka and I have both been bridesmaids and brides, so we understand the planning, budgeting, and extra expenses that go into it while trying to be financially responsible with our everyday living expenses.”

Of the song’s inception, Tinka tells Celeb Secrets that it was actually inspired by all of the events leading up to her wedding. Teaming up with frequent co-writer Jimmy Nash, the track was written via Zoom in less than two hours.
“The song was written by my older sister, [Nata], right after I had gotten married to my husband. Nata took this time while I was away [on my honeymoon] to write this song that was so relatable to her at the moment, and at the same time, to every bachelorette in Nashville as well. We do live in ‘Bachelorette City’ after all, so it was only fitting to make an anthem for all the bridesmaids out there struggling to do the most for their beloved bestie brides.”
“With the way social media has pushed the standards for what is considered by today’s generation to be a ‘normal’ way of celebrating a bride, it’s no wonder why our bank accounts are constantly drained! But, at the end of the day, we know we’d do it all over again because of how much we love them,” she continues.
“When she returned from her honeymoon, I showed her the song, and we instantly started performing it during a few of our writer’s rounds. It was undoubtedly a continuous crowd favorite, and we needed to take it to the studio!” Nata adds.

Being that they live in the one of the biggest Bachelorette cities in the world, Nata and Tinka took to Broadway in Downtown Nashville to film a fun visual that relates to the track. Renting the “cutest” Airbnb within walking distance from all of the city’s famed bars, the sisters spent an entire day and night filming themselves getting ready to go out on the town.
“My favorite memory from making the video was how the entire day and night were stress-free. One time, we were jumping on the couch with our friends while singing along to ‘Broke Bridesmaid’, and I remembered feeling like I was actually on one of my friends’ bachelorette trips,” Nata recalls.
“My favorite memory would have to be us jumping up and down on the couch in the Airbnb for about 20 minutes straight while the song ran on repeat. We were trying to get the perfect shot, but I could not stop laughing so hard and falling off the couch every five seconds!” Tinka echoes.
As for what’s next, Nata has been in the studio writing a ton of songs with hopes to release them in 2025. But before the girls kick off the new year with a bang, they will take time off to spend the holidays with their family.
“We are taking the rest of 2024 to gear up for what 2025 will bring! I have been writing some new songs that we are getting ready to take to the studio very soon — which is always exciting,” Nata reveals. “And with this being the time of year the music industry tends to slow down, we also look forward to spending time with our family over the holiday season.”
