After an almost five-year hiatus from music, Rihanna finally might be coming out with new music! Well…maybe just one new song. But we’ll take what we can get.
The artist posted a video edit on Instagram honoring her last album, ANTI, which has lasted on the Billboard 200 chart for the past five years, making Rihanna the first Black female artist to achieve the record in history. She thanked everyone who supported and contributed to the success of the album and the ANTI era.
She captioned the video saying, “grateful to the most High for putting die hard supporters in my circle 🙏🏿 #Anti #WomensHistoryMonth 💪🏿 congrats to everyone that contributed to this era, thank you team.”

Under the post there were a mass amount of comments congratulating the singer on the record-breaking success, one fan commented “celebrate by releasing a song !!” which caught the eye of Riri herself! She responded to the fan saying, “i think i should 🔜” followed by another reply saying “just 1 tho lol.”
During Rihanna’s hiatus from music, she has been focusing on building her empire. She released her makeup line, Fenty Beauty, a year after her last album and also released her own line of lingerie called Savage X Fenty the year after that.
Even if it’s only one song, we’re so excited to hear new music from the singer!
