Ariana Grande is back with another live performance of a song from her latest album, Positions!
For the performance, the singer teams up with musician Ty Dolla $ign to perform their song, “safety net.” Together, the artists sing in a meadow of flowers with a full band backing them. A light shines above them as it alternates from hues of blue, green, and orange.
The video marks the second performance in Grande’s collaboration with VEVO. She is slated to release multiple live performance videos with the music video company. Back in June, the singer released the first video, which was a performance of the song “pov.”
Earlier in the week, Grande posted a photo to Instagram with the caption, “which song do you think is next? @vevo.” Ty Dolla $ign commented an hourglass emoji and a smiling face with sunglasses emoji. Grande responded with an exclamation point. After this tease, fans immediately knew that “safety net” had to be the next video!
In other collaboration news, Grande recently featured on Doja Cat’s new album Planet Her. The duo joined forces on the song, “I Don’t Do Drugs.” You can watch the visualizer for the track here.
