Ashley Cooke is Making Her TV Debut on This Season of “The Bachelorette!”

If you didn’t already have enough reasons to tune into this historic season of The Bachelorette, now you have another.

Rising country star Ashley Cooke will make her debut TV appearance on ABC’s hit-reality show this coming Monday (July 18), as she’s performing her swoon-worthy romantic duet, “Never Til Now” with chart-topper Brett Young.

“Getting to make my TV debut is unbelievably exciting in general… but especially getting to debut on ‘The Bachelorette!’ It was so fun to get to marry the two worlds of TV and music and to do it all with my friend and duet partner, Brett Young,” Cooke shared in a statement.

She initially teased the announcement last night (July 12) by posting a video of herself with a rose, saying, “can you guess what huge tv show I’m about to perform on?”

It’s a big moment for Cooke, as “Never Til Now” was her first radio single, in addition to the fact that the long-running reality series reaches millions of homes a week — its premiere episode racked in just under three million total viewers!

Ashley joins other big names in Country music who have performed on the franchise like LANCO, Chase Rice, Temecula Road, Jon Pardi and Brett Young himself.

“It’s an honor to get to be the voice behind the story and to get to be a small part of Rachel and Gabby’s journey to finding love,” she said.

The young country star originally wrote “Never Til Now” as a solo for her debut EP Already Drank That Beer which was released in April 2021. She told Celeb Secrets Country reporter Blakely McHugh backstage at the 2022 CMA Music Festival that she had always envisioned the hit track to be a duet.

“My producer gave Brett a call asking if he wanted to be part of the song and he said yes,” Cooke shared. “So it just made it really cool and I’m just fortunate that he agreed to it.”

Young’s addition to the song made it Cooke’s first radio single and landed her the number one slot on the most added list the first week it was released.

“As a country artist getting a song on country radio is always a massive honor but getting number one most added on my first week, I was like, ‘what?!’ It was cool.”

Since first releasing music during the pandemic, 2022 has been a big year for Spotify’s Hot Country Artist to Watch of 2022.

She not only released her song with Young, she also signed with Big Loud Records/Big Blocks Music in March, toured with Cole Swindell and Jordan Davis, and now she’s getting back on the road for more performances.

If you ask her what she has in store for this year, she’ll answer: “a lot of touring.”

She’ll be heading out with Swindell once again for his Back Down To The Bar Tour in the fall but before she does that, be on the lookout for new music from Cooke.
