The 2024 iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina closed out their 11th annual celebration of Latin music on Saturday, October 26 with a bang.
Hundreds of excited fans attended the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida for performances by iHeartRadio Corazón Latino Award recipient Feid, Sebastián Yatra, Chencho Corleone, Wisin, Manuel Turizo, Maria Becerra, and Black Eyed Peas. Several special moments throughout the night warmed our hearts.
Enrique Santos, President and Chief Creative Officer of iHeartLatino and on-air talent for iHeartRadio, hosted the event celebrating the power of Latin music. “It’s such an honor to bring together so many artists and fans in one room to celebrate Latin music,” Santos told Celeb Secrets‘ host Lupe Llerenas backstage at the event. “It’s a true honor and a responsibility.”
Aron Luix kicked off iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina with his hit “Vamos a Bailar” and got the crowd on their feet. At just 18 years old, the rising artist opened up for Latin boyband group CNCO, singing in front of over five thousand people. Most recently, Luis has released singles “Una Ilusion,” and “Bailemos.” Now, he’s ready to continue conquering the music business.
He shared with Celeb Secrets his excitement of opening up the show, “The energy was something unreal. I felt like I was the headliner.”
Maria Becerra took over the iHeartFiesta Latina stage, and with a stunning performance of her hits “Cuando Te Vi,” “Agora,” “Corazón Vacio” and more. In fact, we spoke with the Argentinian singer shortly after her performance, and she said she loved every minute of her time in front of the crowd.
“Traveling to so many beautiful places, getting to know states that I had never stepped foot in… and my Latino audience here in the United States — but also my American audiences — it’s been incredible,” Maria reveals. “At my shows, I say, ‘how many Latino people are here? How many people from the United States?’ And there are a lot of people who raise their hands. It’s really something very crazy for me, I can’t believe it.”
“The fans have given me a lot of love, affection, and understanding. I feel that they are very considerate with me, you know, and they want to make you feel safe and comfortable where you are. I am so grateful for that,” she continues.
Chencho Corleone delivered an energetic set with his dancers, performing fan favorites including “Desesperados,” “Me Porto Bonito” “Lo Caro y Lo Bueno,” Si No Le Contesto” and more.
The renowned reggaeton singer, songwriter, and producer, first gained fame as part of the duo Plan B. Now, on his solo career, Chencho celebrated the release of his debut solo album by performing several songs that had the crowd dancing from beginning to end.
Reggaeton was alive and well the entire night, as Wisin was the next performer to deliver bangers like “Pam Pam,” “Mírala Bien,” “Fiel” and “Mayor Que Yo” to represent the genre. Fans were seen dancing, chanting and vibing to Wisin and his music.
Manuel Turizo then followed by wowing the crowd with live renditions of “Desconocidos,” “Una Lady,” “La Bachata,” and “El Merengue.” The Colombian singer slowed things down with his vocals and mellow danced moves for the perfect balance. Sebastián Yatra also had the audience swooning with his gorgeous ballads “Pareja Del Año,” “Traicionera,” “Ya no tiene novio” and many more. Another singer with a soothing voice, his love songs serenaded fans in such a unique way.
This year, iHeartMedia and Enrique Santos presented Feid with the iHeartRadio Corazón Latino Award. The Colombian singer received the honor for his creativity and impact in the community and industry as a singer, songwriter, and producer with music crossing various genres, including reggaeton, R&B, and Afrobeats. Feid is a multi-platinum, nine-time Latin GRAMMY-nominated artist who is passionate about how his heritage inspires his work and has been an ambassador for his Colombian culture and community.
When it was time for him to take the stage, the 32-year-old all the iconic hits, including “Brickell,” “Se Me Olvida,” “Classy 101” and “Luna.” With an electrifying set, the Colombian singer was jumping up and down, running and hyping up the audience as they sang his songs lyric by lyric.
Lastly, the Black Eyed Peas closed out the 2024 iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina with some of their iconic smash hits from “Let’s Get it Started,” “Mamacita” and “I Gotta Feeling.” Right before their performance, each member shared a few words with the audience as they all reflected what it is to be Latino and how important Latinos are to the world. Then they brought the house down as they shut down the show.
