Margot Robbie is officially a mom!
The 34-year-old actress has welcomed her first child — a baby boy — with her husband Tom Ackerley, PEOPLE reports.
The Daily Mail also reported Robbie had her son two weeks ago and that “all is well” with the actress and her child.Margot and Tom, along with family members have so far remained tight-lipped about the arrival of their son, who arrived on October 17th.
According to PEOPLE, Robbie and Ackerley first met in 2013 on the set of the World War II drama Suite Française, where he was an assistant director and she starred as Celine Joseph. They then married in December 2016 during a private ceremony in Australia’s Byron Bay.
Robbie made her first appearance in the public eye while pregnant back in July, where she her Ackerley attended Wimbledon. She’s also been seen out and about in Los Angeles wearing chic maternity looks for everyday errands.
Before meeting Tom, Margot previously described herself as the “ultimate single gal.” But the Barbie actress admitted that the film producer has changed her outlook entirely.
Reflecting on the evolution of their romance, Margot told Vogue magazine: “I was the ultimate single gal. The idea of relationships made me want to vomit.
“And then this crept up on me. We were friends for so long. I was always in love with him, but I thought, ‘Oh, he would never love me back. Don’t make it weird, Margot. Don’t be stupid and tell him that you like him’. And then it happened, and I was like, of course we’re together.”
The actress admitted that their relationship just “makes so much sense.”
Margot, who married Tom in a private ceremony in Byron Bay in Australia, explained, “This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before.”
