Back in November, pop princess Britney Spears announced she was working on her ninth studio album and apparently we are about a month away from its release date!
According to the Las Vegas Sun’s Robin Leach, Brit will be picking out the album’s lead single today and shooting the video for it next Monday. The lead single is reportedly titled “Make Me (Oooh).”

Even though Spears has been keeping her lips shut about the release of new music, earlier this year she spilled to V magazine that she feels her new album is “the best thing [she’s] done in a long time.â€
“Honestly, I’m just particular with this record. It’s my baby, and so I really want it done right,†Spears told the magazine back in February. “I just know that the direction I’m going in is so good. It’s the best thing I’ve done in a long time. I’m proud of the work, and it’s very different; it’s not what you would think at all.â€
In the meantime, Spears just kicked off her latest leg of her Piece of Me Las Vegas residency last week. Over the weekend, she shared some teasers of her revamped wardrobe on Instagram.
