Brittany Snow and her “Selling the OC” Husband Tyler Stanaland Are Separating

I guess marriage life isn’t Pitch Perfect for Brittany Snow and her Selling the OC husband, Tyler Stanaland.

Posting a black and white photo of themselves on a train, the former couple announced on Instagram that they made the “difficult decision to separate.”

In similar posts, they wrote, “This decision was made with love and mutual respect for one another. We have realized we need to take some time and make sure we are each living our most fulfilling and authentic lives.”

According to TMZ,  the actress and reality star’s relationship has been on the rocks for some time. A source told the outlet that distance, Stanaland lives in Orange County and Snow lives in Los Angeles, caused a strain on their relationship.

“We started this journey as best friends and our relationship will continue to be a priority not only for us but for our dog Charlie,” the post continued.

Brittany Snow is known for her roles in the Pitch Perfect film and Hairspray meanwhile her estranged husband has flown mostly under the radar until now.

He’s an agent at the Oppenheim Group and was featured in the Netflix reality show Selling the OC which premiered this month.

One of the main sources of drama during the show was an incident between Stanaland and his co-star Kayla Cardona that was not filmed for the cameras. Cardona admitted that during a night out with the other agents of the Oppenheim group, she tried to kiss Stanaland and allegedly told him that they could keep the secret between them.

Fans were also concerned about his friendship with his other female co-stars Alex Hall and Polly Brindle, i.e. “nose bites.”

Despite infidelity rumors, the source told TMZ there is no truth to those claims and made no impact on their decision to separate.

The source also confirmed that Stanaland is not dating Hall.

They ended their statement with, “We sincerely appreciate your support and ask for privacy as we navigate this new chapter.”

The two got engaged in 2019 and married in 2020.
