Bruno Mars and Anderson. Paak’s group, Silk Sonic, blessed music enthusiasts ears today (July 30) with the release of their new single “Skate.”
The disco-sounding track comes four months after the release of their debut hit single, “Leave the Door Open,” and gives listeners a similar retro vibe. It’s also the second track off the duo’s highly-anticipated album, An Evening With Silk Sonic, which will drop at a later date. While we don’t have the exact day it will be released, we know that the album is complete and ready to go.

Along with the song, the duo shared a retro-inspired video, which was co-directed by Mars alongside Florent Dechard and Philippe Tayag. The music video opens with Mars and .Paak playing the drums outside as a gorgeous woman in roller skates dance around them.
