Returning as Chris on the hit series, Robinson’s character has a lot to wrap his head around in these new string of episodes, as he says that there will be a ton more drama and even a few Freaky Friday references.

“This season was the first that we have had body swapping with ‘Freaky Friday’ references,” Robinson, whose character is a mischievous cool guy who always finds himself in unpredictable situations, tells Celeb Secrets. “It has also been the first where I have be able to use method acting and physical comedy to transform my performance into a snake.”

Celeb Secrets: Congratulations on season 6 of Mani out now on Brat TV! How does it feel to be back as Chris on the show?

Bryson Robinson: “Thank you. It feels amazing! I, alongside many of my fellow cast mates, have literally grown up on the show over the years. I am excited to tell more of my character’s story.”

CS: What’s your favorite part about working on the show?

BR: “I would have to say getting to work with the amazing cast that has become my friends over the years.”

CS: Without spoiling anything of course, what can viewers expect to watch for the rest of this new season?

BR: “Look forward to so much drama, Freaky Friday vibes and a couple surprises in the season finale.”

CS: What was filming this new season like? Was there anything different compared to previous seasons?

BR: “Well, this season was the first that we have had body swapping with ‘Freaky Friday’ references. It has also been the first where I have be able to use method acting and physical comedy to transform my performance into a snake.”

CS: The show has been going on for about 4 years now — how has the show impacted you and your career as an actor?

BR: “Working on Brat is like working with family now. I love my ‘Mani’ fam!! It’s super cool to be recognized and asked for pictures when I’m out at theme parks.”

CS: Any behind-the-scenes secrets from filming the show that we wouldn’t know from watching it?

BR: “There are so many funny moments for a blooper reel! Stay tuned!”

CS: When did your passion for acting start? How did you get your official start as an actor? What’s your story?

BR: “I have always loved to make people laugh! I started off doing some print ads and commercials in NYC when I was 4. I did a commercial for Party City and Kohl’s. Then we moved to Los Angeles shortly after.”

CS: Before starting on Mani, what was the auditioning process like? Were you extremely nervous about getting the role?

Bryson: “I’m not one to get nervous about auditions. I just try my best to be prepared, have fun, perform the scenes and forget about it.”

CS: With your on-screen roles, you’ve also had the opportunity to host shows such as DreamWorksTV’s Fast and The Furious SpyRacers and Netflix Futures’ Last Kids on Earth… what have those gigs been like? How do they differ from acting?

Bryson: “I love hosting shows! I am a natural host with my personality and love of thinking quickly on the spot. Hosting gives me the opportunity to use more of my personality to the role, which is different from scripted television. With scripted television I have to do more character research and stick to the script as written.”

CS: What can fans of yours expect from you in the future?

BR: “Well. new episodes of ‘Mani’ release every Thursday on Brat TV. I have a couple of projects releasing in 2022 that I just wrapped.”

CS: Since we’re Celeb Secrets, do you have any secrets about yourself that fans wouldn’t know?

BR: “I’ve never been stung by a bee! I’m on a mission to visit every theme park in the United States.”
