Lainey Wilson is heading back to Country Music’s Biggest Night!
The 12-time CMA Award winner has officially been revealed as the host for The 60th Annual CMA Awards, marking her third consecutive year taking the stage in a hosting role and her second straight year steering the ship solo.
The big reveal dropped live on television during ESPN’s College GameDay. Broadcast live from Louisiana State University (LSU) in Wilson’s home state of Louisiana, the announcement lined up with College GameDay’s milestone 500th road show.

Returning to her home state, Wilson was featured on the broadcast as the celebrity guest picker for the Week 1 slate. Before breaking out her game picks live on set, the country icon surprised fans by sharing the news that she will lead the 60th-anniversary celebration of the CMA Awards.
“I couldn’t be more excited to be hosting the CMA Awards again this year, especially with it being the 60th anniversary,”Wilson shared in a statemeny. “I’ve had so much fun hosting the last two years, and this one’s going to be extra special. Can’t wait to see y’all in November!”

Celebrating six decades of honoring country music’s best, the diamond-anniversary broadcast will bring together generations of country talent, high-energy performances, and historic moments live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday, November 18th @ 8/7c on ABC and streaming live on Disney+, with next-day streaming available on Hulu.
Nominees for The 60th Annual CMA Awards will be revealed live on ABC’s Good Morning America on Thursday, September 10, followed by a full livestream breakdown on the official CMA YouTube channel. Tickets officially go on sale to the public via CMAworld.com/tickets on Friday, September 18.
