The 2021 Latin American Music Awards are just around the corner and Telemundo has officially announced its first line-up of stars to perform at the sixth annual awards show.
The awards show will be headlined by renowned international celebrities including Ana Bárbara, Banda MS de Sergio Lizárraga, Camilo, Carlos Vives, David Bisbal, Eslabon Armado, Gerardo Ortiz, Joss Favela, Karol G, Los Dos Carnales, Maluma, Myke Towers, Nicky Jam, and Piso 21.
While following the most stringent safety protocols to protect the health and safety of all involved, a state-of-the-art set with multiple stages will host extraordinary musicals created exclusively for this show. Mexico’s Banda MS de Sergio Lizárraga will perform a world premiere to celebrate their five nominations; while renowned Colombian artist Maluma, a favorite in four categories, will join Piso 21 in an exciting television premiere. A top interpreter in the regional Mexican genre, Ana Bárbara, will arrive to the show on the heels of her live concert in California, for a special rendition; while singer, songwriter, and producer Joss Favela, who is enjoying the success of his latest single “El Alumno” with Jessi Uribe, will also present a memorable performance.
Colombia’s Karol G will delight fans with a television premiere; while Camilo, Eslabon Armado, Los Dos Carnales and Myke Towers, who are all vying for the coveted New Artist of the Year award, among others, will feature electrifying performances.
The evening will also include a special and memorable moment, as various artists join to pay a heartfelt tribute to the musical legacy of Joan Sebastian, “El Poeta del Pueblo” (The People’s Poet).
The network will roll out the red carpet to welcome the biggest Latin stars who will come together to perform LIVE on Telemundo, Thursday, April 15 starting at 7pm/6c from the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida.
