It’s HAPPENING!! BTS and Halsey are headed to Las Vegas!
The K-pop band and chart topping singer/songwriter are teaming up for the first ever live performance of their brand new song (and total smash) “Boy With Luv” at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards. They join previously announced Kelly Clarkson, Lauren Daigle, Khalid, Panic! At The Disco, Sam Smith & Normani, and 2019 ICON Award recipient Mariah Carey.
Both BTS and Halsey are no strangers to the BBMAs stage. Last year, BTS performed their top 10 Billboard Hot 100 single “Fake Love” and have also walked away with the Top Social Artist trophy in both 2017 and 2018. This year, they are nominated for Top Duo/Group and Top Social Artist.
For Halsey, she first took the Billboard Music Awards stage in 2017 and again in 2018, performing her hit “Now or Never” and then joining The Chainsmokers the following year to pay tribute to Avicii. Halsey is nominated this year for Top Female Artist and Top Selling Song for “Without Me.”

Earlier this month, Kelly Clarkson joined Dan + Shay on the Today Show in New York City to reveal the nominees in top categories. Cardi B leads with a whopping 21 nominations this year, followed by Drake and Post Malone with seventeen, Travis Scott with twelve, XXXTENTACION with ten and Ariana Grande with nine. Nominated for two awards this year, Taylor Swift still leads the pack for most wins of all time with 23, a record she could break again with a win this year.
