What Are The Kids’ Choice Awards?
The Kids’ Choice Awards is an annual American children’s award ceremony produced by Nickelodeon and sponsored by Lunchables, Nintendo Switch, and Olive Garden.
The family-friendly award show is usually held on Saturday night in March or early April. Each and every year, young viewers everywhere have the opportunity to vote for their favorite TV shows, movies, and musical acts leading up to the big event – where the celebs get honored for their hard work and dedication within the entertainment industry.

Who Is hosting?
CBS Sports Analyst Nate Burleson and TikTok star Charli D’Amelio are set to co-host the 2023 Kids’ Choice Awards.
“Hosting NFL Slimetime is always a blast, and I can’t wait to bring that same energy and Slime as co-host of the iconic Kids’ Choice Awards! I grew up on Nickelodeon, and my kids still love watching, so we’re all ready for the stunts, surprises, and superstars that await us at this year’s show,” said Burleson. “I got slimed at the KCAs in 2021, saw my sister get slimed at last year’s show, and now, no one is safe with me as co-host! Nate and I will make sure this year’s show is full of unexpected Slime shots, impressive dances, and surprise tricks along the way!” added D’Amelio.
Who Is Performing?
Diamond-selling artist Bebe Rexha will take the stage and headline the 2023 KCAs. The megastar will deliver an epic performance of her chart-topping track, “I’m Good (Blue).”
“I’ve always loved the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards!” shared Rexha in a recent statement. “I can’t wait to perform and see who gets slimed.”

Who Are The Big Nominees?
Big names Adele, Rihanna, Harry Styles, Taylor Swift, Jack Harlow, Selena Gomez, Bad Bunny, The Weeknd, Beyoncé, and Billie Eilish are the frontrunners. They are heading into the spectacular night with the most nominations under their belt. Meanwhile, Nicky Youre, Letitia Wright, GAYLE, Jack Harlow, and award-winning actress Jenna Ortega are first-time nominees.
A handful of binge-worthy series has scored nominations in competitive categories. “That Girl Lay Lay” and “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” both have earned four nominations. However, “Stranger Things” has secured six nods – making the beloved thriller an ultimate favorite.

Adam Sandler Will Be Honored With The “King of Comedy Award”
History will be made on Saturday, as award-winning actor and comedian Adam Sandler will be honored with the “King of Comedy Award.” Sandler’s appearance will mark his 11th KCA, but will serve as the first time he would receive the prestigious accolade. After nearly 30 years in the industry, Nickelodeon will acknowledge the funny man for his phenomenal work.
“I’ve had so many great times at this fantastic awards extravaganza, and I’ll always be excited to hang with da kiddies!!” Sandler previously told Variety. “Love to all!!”
