BTS Announces New Japanese Album “BTS, The Best” and New Japanese Song “Film Out”

If any of you were waiting for new music from Grammy-nominated BTS, well then the wait is over. News just dropped that they’ll be releasing a Japanese album, BTS, THE BEST, on June 16!

The album will have a total of 23 tracks which will mostly be made up of BTS’ Korean singles but re-recorded in Japanese. It will also include other previously released Japanese tracks such as “Crystal Snow,” “Don’t Leave Me,” “Let Go,” and “Stay Gold.”

The news was posted on the group’s official Japanese fan club, where fans were also told that the theme single, “Film Out,” will be released ahead of the album on Friday, April 2.

“Film Out” is an emotional ballad with a beautiful melody and was co-composed by group member, Jungkook. The song is also serving as the official theme soundtrack for the upcoming Japanese movie Signal The Movie, a spin-off of the Japanese TV show. This will be BTS’ second song for the Signal franchise, as “Don’t Leave Me” was featured on the series.

The teaser for the “Film Out” music video was also dropped and many ARMY were quick to point out the visual similarities between the “Film Out” video and BTS’ music video for their track, “Fake Love,” making fans believe that the storyline from “Fake Love” is being continued.

You can pre-save “Film Out” here and make sure to catch the rest of the BTS, THE BEST album out on June 16.
