After 34 months, 7.3M+ real-time views, and exactly way too many days without them, BTS has officially announced their grand return—and ARMY, it’s about to be the most beautiful moment in life all over again.
During a history-making Weverse livestream on July 1st (aka ARMY’s new birthday), RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook came together on camera for the first time since 2022—reunited, refreshed, and ready to Run BTS straight into a new era.
“We’ll be releasing a new BTS album in the spring of next year,” they shared. “ Starting in July, all seven of us will begin working closely together on new music. Since it will be a group album, it will reflect each member’s thoughts and ideas. We’re approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started.” — Yes. You heard that right. A new BTS album. In spring 2026. OT7. ALL TOGETHER.
But wait—there’s more. The kings also revealed they’ll be heading on a massive world tour shortly after the album drops. That’s right, ARMY: this isn’t just a comeback, it’s a full-on “Spring Day” turned “Fire” level rebirth. Their first tour since Permission to Dance On Stage wrapped in 2022? It’s giving MAP OF THE SOUL: FOUND AGAIN.

With over 7.3M real-time views in under 30 minutes, the livestream was literally record-breaking. It was also the group’s first OT7 broadcast since military enlistments began, making it feel like the ultimate reunion special meets emotional fanfic finale.
They reminisced, teased the new project, and confirmed that all seven members are flying to the U.S. this month to start working on the album together. BTS in the studio? TAKE OUR MONEY. TAKE OUR HEARTS.
Before the group comeback officially kicks off, the boys are still in their solo bag (and we love that for them). They hyped each other up like true soulmates. Jin’s solo concert, #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, wrapped up in Goyang last weekend with piano, emotion, and Seokjin supremacy; and j-hope is heading to Lollapalooza Berlin on July 13, bringing his HOPE ON THE STAGE magic to an international crowd. The members said it best: “He’s going to do great.” (Ofc he is—it’s Hobi.)

BTS
With all seven back and plotting their next global takeover, 2026 is already shaping up to be the Year of BTS. Between new music, a world tour, and what’s sure to be a fandom-shaking rollout, ARMY is officially entering their comeback era.
From No More Dream to new dream incoming, one thing’s clear: the boys never left our hearts—but now, they’re finally back to take the stage.
So get ready, charge your ARMY bombs, rewatch Bon Voyage, and brush up on your fanchants—BTS is coming, and world domination part two is just getting started.
