Netflix is on fire with their recent casting announcements!
On Thursday (June 24), they announced the ensemble cast for their upcoming dark comedy film, Strangers. The star-studded cast includes: Camila Mendes, Maya Hawke, Sophie Turner, Alisha Boe, Austin Abrams, Talia Ryder, Paris Berelc, Rish Shah, Jonathan Daviss, Maia Reficco, and Ava Capri. What a lineup!
According to Variety, the story revolves around two girls named Drea (Mendes) and Eleanor (Hawke) who come together in a chance meeting to go after one another’s bullies. The film will be directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, who also co-wrote the script with Celeste Ballard. It is illustrated as a “Hitchcockian dark comedy featuring the scariest protagonists of them all: teenage girls.”
Some of the stars took to Instagram to react to the exciting news! Most of them posted a screenshot of the announcement with different captions.
