We’re gearing up for the world premiere of Peacock‘s new pop-horror thriller series Hysteria!, and the hype for what’s to come is leaving us on the edge of our seats.
For those who don’t know, Hysteria! is set during the “Satanic Panic” of the late 1980s. When a beloved varsity quarterback disappears, a struggling high school heavy metal band of outcasts realize they can capitalize on the town’s sudden interest in the occult by building a reputation as a Satanic metal band, until a bizarre series of murders, kidnappings, and reported “supernatural activity” triggers a leather-studded witch hunt that leads directly back to them. The series stars Julie Bowen, Anna Camp, Emjay Anthony, Chiara Aurelia, Kezii Curtis and Nikki Hahn, with recurring stars Bruce Campbell, Garret Dillahunt, Nolan North, Elijah Richardson, Milly Shapiro, Allison Scagliotti and Jessica Treska.
With all episodes available for binging beginning this Friday (October 18), Celeb Secrets is getting you ready for your newest TV addiction by premiering an exclusive clip from episode 3. While you need to watch episodes 1 and 2 for some context, we can share that episode 3 titled “Can I Play With Madness” will see Dethkrunch putting in the work to host their first official Satanic cult meeting while Faith will conduct her own investigation. Plus, Linda seeks to connect with anyone who could understand what she’s going through.
In the clip, series stars Chiara Aurelia (Cruel Summer), Emjay Anthony (Chef, Physical), and Kezii Curtis (Charm City Kings) who formed a Satanic metal band, Dethkrunch, and are shown rocking out in a high-energy performance.
After their audience was roaring with applause, Emjay’s character reacts by saying, “guys, that was incredible.”
