Chris Stapleton, Babyface, & Sheryl Lee Ralph Set To Perform Ahead of Super Bowl LVII Kickoff

The NFL has announced the pregame lineup for the upcoming Super Bowl LVII as Chris Stapleton, Babyface, and Sheryl Lee Ralph have been nabbed to perform just moments before the big game kicks off. Stapleton will sing “The National Anthem,” Babyface will sing “America The Beautiful,” and Ralph will sing “Lift Every Voice And Sing.”

Stapleton is a country music singer/songwriter known for many hit songs such as “Fire Away,” “Broken Halos,” and “Tennessee Whiskey,” to name a few. The Kentucky-born star has won many awards throughout his twenty-two-year-long career, including fourteen CMA Awards and eight Grammy Awards. Stapleton will have the immense honor of performing our country’s official anthem.

As for Babyface, the 63-year-old R&B legend has won twelve Grammy Awards in his career and has been part of twenty-six R&B number-one singles as a producer or writer. In terms of his singing career, he is known for songs such as “Every Time I Close My Eyes” and “Whip Appeal,” as well as some hit collaborations such as his feature on Lil Wayne‘s “Comfortable” and another feature on the Lucky Daye song, “Shoulda.” Babyface, just like Stapleton, will sing a song that means so much to our country and its people.

Lastly, Sheryl Lee Ralph will perform the final song of this fantastic pregame lineup. While very talented as a singer as she has had many successful years as a Broadway star, including her time as Deena Jones in the Broadway version of Dreamgirls, Ralph is currently beloved worldwide for her role as Barbara Howard on the ABC hit Abbott Elementary.

Ralph has been working in the music and acting world since the ’70s and her hard work has indeed paid off as she is finally being given the credit she deserves for her superb acting and comedic talent. It feels very fitting to see such a long-time worker in show biz earning this opportunity of performing at the Super Bowl.

All in all, the NFL picked a great group of talented and beloved musicians to get us all pumped for Super Bowl LVII.
