Danna Paola, Sebastián Yatra, Roselyn Sánchez And Paz Vega Share Excitement for Hosting the 2023 Latin Grammy Awards (Exclusive)

Latin Music’s biggest night is just around the corner!

Mexican singer-actress Danna Paola, Spanish actress Paz Vega, Puerto Rican actress Roselyn Sánchez, and Colombian singer Sebastián Yatra are all coming together to host the 2023 Latin Grammys TONIGHT (November 16) from Seville, Spain. This is the first time in 24 years since The Recording Academy moved the awards show from the U.S. to Spain.

“It is an honor to celebrate our Latin GRAMMY Week in Sevilla and commit to our mission of elevating Latin music and its creators around the world,” said Latin Recording Academy CEO Manuel Abud in a statement. “We are confident that it will be a memorable celebration.”

To celebrate the Latin Grammys, Celeb Secrets’ Lupe LLerenas attended their press conferences virtually, where all four hosts shared their excitement about participating in such a legendary music night.

“The Latin Grammys are taking place in the city where I was born; it’s an honor,” expressed Vega, born and raised in Seville, Spain. “It’s one of the most important nights for Latin music, and to be a part of it, it’s a blessing.”

Vega also recalled that in 2019, she shared the Latin Grammy stage with Roselyn Sánchez as a host in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jokingly she said, “at least we won’t be sweating like we were in 2019, ‘remember Roselyn?'”

Paola shared how it’s a dream come true as a singer. “To celebrate all these years of Latin music and be here, it’s a dream for me.” She continues, “to be alongside these three talented hosts and to join them on this gala fills me with so much honor and joy.”

She also shared how, as a Mexican singer, it’s a privilege to represent Mexico on the Latin Grammys when Regional Mexican music is winning globally. “So many of my colleagues are nominated in this music space with Regional Mexican music taking over, and I couldn’t be happier.”

Yatra expressed that he, along with Vega, Paola, and Sánchez share the same passion and love for music and acting, so being hosts will allow them to connect with the audience even more.

“For me, it was always a dream to present and host on national TV, especially the Latin Grammys, and now that dream is coming true,” he shared.
