Amber Riley
It’s no surprise powerhouse vocalist Amber Riley, also known mononymously as RILEY, has had success vocally after consistently impressing us as Mercedes Jones. She released her debut EP in 2020 and has appeared onscreen and on the recordings of The Wiz Live!, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and The Little Mermaid Live!. She formed a musical theatre supergroup called Leading Ladies with Beverley Knight and Cassidy Janson and they released their debut album in 2017. But most impressive is that Riley won the Olivier Award (the British equivalent of the Tony Award) in 2017 for playing Effie White in Dreamgirls, for which she is also on the cast recording.
