Alex Newell
Perhaps the most successful musically post-Glee is Alex Newell. They had a number one hit on Billboard’s Dance Club charts with “Kill the Lights” with DJ Cassidy, Jess Glynne and Nile Rodgers. Their debut EP, Power, reached number four on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Charts. Newell is now on another musical television show, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, in which they can often be heard singing. But above all, Newell is the only Glee star to be nominated for a Grammy since the end of the show for the 2018 Original Broadway Cast Recording of Once on This Island.
