Disney Channel is adding a new television show to their one-of-a-kind lineup and this one is all about being “stuck in the middle.”
Next month, the network will premiere its newest half-hour, single-camera, sit-com series Stuck In The Middle. Starring newcomer Jenna Ortega (“Jane The Virgin” and “Elena of Avalor”) as inventive tween Harley Diaz, the series will follow middle child Harley in a bustling household of nine. Told from Harley’s point of view, the slice of life stories find humor in everyday life as this middle child devises creative ways to cope with – and stand out – in her family’s busy suburban Massachusetts household.
The Diaz parents, Suzy (Cerina Vincent) and Tom (Joe Nieves), also have six other kids: Rachel (Ronni Hawk) the self-involved eldest; Georgie (Kayla Maisonet), a basketball-playing teen; Ethan (Isaak Presley), Harley’s closest ally; invincible and indestructible twins Lewie (Nicolas Bechtel) and “Beast” (Malachi Barton); and the strong-willed youngest sibling, Daphne (Ariana Greenblatt).
In the premiere episode, avid inventor Harley (Ortega) is all set to accept a community award, but must first devise a way to get her family out of the house and to the ceremony on time.
Stuck in the Middle premieres Sunday, February 14th @ 8:45PM ET/PT on Disney Channel and will air in its regular time slot beginning Friday, March 11th @ 9PM ET/PT on Disney Channel.
