No matter how old we get, our love for Disney princesses will never die. Each heroine is courageous, kind and inspiring, and Disney Channel just dropped the news that they will let us embrace our inner princess with a new TV special later this summer.
In correspondence with World Princess Week, the network will debut an original music special, Disney Princess Remixed – An Ultimate Princess Celebration later this summer. The magical event — which will air on Friday, August 27th @ 7:30PM ET/PT — is executive produced by Emmy Award-winning team NappyTabs of World of Dance and So You Think You Can Dance.
Just like a classic fairytale, the half-hour special will be narrated by 12-year-old social media superstar Txunamy Ortiz and will honor the empowering qualities of Disney princesses and queens through reinterpreted performances of legendary tunes.
