According to the viewer tracking application Samba TV, the first episode, which started streaming on June 9, brought in the largest Marvel/Disney+ premiere day audience to date, with 890,000 households tuning in.
Whether you couldn’t get enough of WandaVision or The Falcon and the Winter Soldier or you lost track of things somewhere between The Avengers and Infinity War, it looks like this series will have a little something for everyone, as long as that something is a lot of Tom Hiddleston smirking.

The show follows Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston, in the aftermath of Avengers: End Game.

After once more running off with the Tesseract, creating a new timeline in the process, the god of mischief is forced to team up with the mysterious Time Variance Authority to capture another dangerous “time variant.” Owen Wilson co-stars as TVA agent Mobius.
In reviews of the first two episodes, critics praise Hiddleston’s performance and the chemistry between him and Wilson.
“‘Loki’ is a great-looking, well-paced, original piece that’s equal parts workplace comedy, time-hopping adventure, murder mystery and superhero fantasy,” writes the Chicago Sun-Times.
