The iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour Presented by Capital One was back in full swing for a star-studded show to kick off the holiday season in Los Angeles on Friday (December 2).
Thousands of pop music fans flocked to the Kia Forum in Inglewood to see some of this year’s biggest names in music, including Dua Lipa, Jack Harlow, Pitbull, Khalid, Bebe Rexha, Lewis Capaldi, Ava Max, Dove Cameron, Jax, Nicky Youre and JVKE at 102.7 KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball 2022.

Chilly temperatures and rain in the Southern California forecast didn’t stop the hundreds of fans that packed the venue’s parking lot for the annual pre-show village earlier in the day, which featured performances from artists like Armani White and Huddy, while Jax and JVKE gave fans an early sneak peek of what they’d be performing inside at the main show.
“It was so cold out there, but when I got on stage — obviously I warmed up a bit — and it was a great time,” Armani White tells Celeb Secrets host Juliet Schroder on the red carpet backstage following his pre-show performance. “I’m glad to be a little bit closer to home, but its been really cool to see people that don’t even speak English sing the words back to my songs.”

With the big show starting exactly at 7:30pm, Jax graced the stage in a shimmering, silver-sequined pantsuit while singing her smash hit “Victoria’s Secret,” with special surprise guest and TikTok star Chelsea Lascher. JVKE shortly followed by performing his song “Golden Hour,” leading everyone in a massive singalong before the next rounds of performers.

It was Nicky Youre‘s first time performing at an arena as large as Kia Forum, and while he described the experience as “scary” at first, he told Celeb Secrets that the entire experience was “so much fun.”
“To go from a 300 person room in March to [Jingle Ball] is pretty crazy,” Nicky said backstage. “I’m handling it way better than I thought and I’m just having fun.” The budding singer/songwriter made sure to include hits like “Eyes On You” and “Weatherman” in his 20-minute set before ending it with the song of the summer “Sunroof.”

The excitement didn’t stop there, as Ava Max got concertgoers on their feet with a show-stopping performance of her songs “Kings and Queens” and “Maybe You’re the Problem” before wrapping her set with a medley of “Sweet But Psycho” and “The Motto” in a glittering blue catsuit. Additionally, chart-topping artists like Dove Cameron, Lewis Capaldi, Khalid and Bebe Rexha had the opportunity to bring their biggest hits to the Jingle Ball stage, setting the bar high for what was to come from the final few performers.

All eyes were on Jack Harlow at the Kia Forum as he sang songs from his new album Come Home The Kids Miss You, including a nod to fellow performer and rumored girlfriend “Dua Lipa” and “First Class” before wrapping his set with his iconic hit “WHAT’S POPPIN.”

Pitbull followed by bringing a taste of the 305 to Los Angeles with a high-energy set including hits like “Don’t Stop The Party,” “Fireball,” “Time of Our Lives,” “Hotel Room Service” and “Timber.” The 41-year-old Cuban-American entertainer had the entire arena dancing along to his feel-good songs, including Real Housewives of Orange County stars Taylor Armstrong and Tamra Judge, along with Heather Morris and Bachelor Nation‘s Johnny DePhillipo and Erich Schwer.
The night closed out with the Dua Lipa giving the audience a taste of her Future Nostalgia tour that recently wrapped, as she paired insane choreography to smash hits like “Physical,” “New Rules,” “Cold Heart,” “Levitating” and “Don’t Stop Now.”
