Ed Sheeran and his wife, Cherry Seaborn, have been keeping a secret.
The famous singer announced the couple welcomed another daughter into the world. In a sweet post on Instagram, he showed off a pair of white baby sized socks, on a knit blanket in what looks to be a crib.
“Want to let you all know we’ve had another beautiful baby girl,” Sheeran, 31, wrote alongside the photos. “We are both so in love with her, and over the moon to be a family of 4 x”

This is the second child, and second daughter, the two have together. They welcomed their first daughter together, Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran, in August 2020.
They announced their first daughter’s birth in a similar way, posting to Instagram with a photo of baby sized socks on a knit blanket, in what also looks to be a crib.

According to Daily Mail, a spokesperson for Sheeran says they are “so excited for Lyra to have a little sister and the four of them are currently enjoying some precious family time before Ed heads back on tour.”
It seems the couple likes to keep these monumental moments out of the spotlight. They secretly wed in January 2019. They also kept the pregnancy of their second child under wraps.
Fans last saw Seaborn out in public when she attended the BRIT awards with her husband in February.
The “Bad Habits” singer previously said at the Open House Party podcast in June 2021, that he would love to continue expanding his family. Especially if it were another girl.
“I would obviously be super grateful to have more kids, but I think girls are far superior to boys,” Sheeran told OHP host Kannon.
