On Thursday night we had the chance to attend the red carpet for the first annual Wheeling and Dealing for the After-School All-Stars event at the gorgeous Petersen Automotive Museum in L.A. The event was a Gatsby-themed gambling night set among classic cars and 20’s memorabilia, with everyone decked out in their Roaring 20’s best, and though the celebs in attendance were doubting their poker skills, they were all about the themed fashion.
About the charity: Founded in 2002 by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, and with noteworthy support from Program Ambassador Kobe Bryant, After-School All-Stars, Los Angeles (ASAS-LA) is a leading after-school provider whose programs educate, enlighten and inspire thousands of students each day through after-school activities centered around academic support; health, fitness and nutrition; the visual and performing arts; and youth leadership and community service learning.
