Long-time It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Charlie Day is set to direct, write, and star in an upcoming comedy film called Fool’s Paradise. Fool’s Paradise is set to hit theaters nationwide on May 12 and will also star Kate Beckinsale, and Ken Jeong, to name a few.

Fool’s Paradise follows the life of The Fool (played by Day) as he is released from some sort of hospital and has lost the ability to speak. The Fool then finds himself starring in a famous film and becomes a big-time star even though he does not say anything. Click actress Kate Beckinsale will play the Fool’s love interest in the flick. Also part of the cast are The Hangover breakout star Ken Jeong, the late-great Ray Liotta, and Shadowhunters star Katherine McNamara.
The cast will also include Day’s Horrible Bosses co-stars Jason Sudeikis and Jason Bateman. Therefore, the beloved movie franchise trio will be reunited during Fool’s Paradise.
This will be Day’s directorial debut. Fool’s Paradise will be hitting theaters officially on May 12. Check out the trailer below.
