The glitz and glam of awards season is finally back! From the red carpets and the afterparties to the fashion, the acceptance speeches, and of course the gift lounges, our favorite primetime television actors came together to celebrate their hard work at the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards on Monday (September 12). But the festivities didn’t begin at the show!
On Friday and Saturday (September 9 & 10), nominees, winners and other special guests gathered at the elegant Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles to attend eBay & GBK Brand Bar Luxury Lounge, where they received over $60K in gifts and trips.
Celeb Secrets was one of the lucky media outlets to score an invite to the top-tier event and give you the scoop on everything celebs received before the big day. Upon entry, guests were given an eBay gift card to shop the company’s selection of authentic luxury goods, which were selected specifically to mimic the style of characters from nominated programs, as well as other TV classics.
Angela Bassett, Tawny Cypress, Steven Krueger, Samantha Hanratty and Jasmin Savoy Brown of Yellowjackets, William Standford Davis and Leslie Ann Walter of Abbott Elementary, Felix Solis and Jessica Frances Dukes of Ozark, Christian Minkler and Ryan Collins of The White Lotus, Nneka Onuorah of Lizzo’s Watch Out for Big Grrrls, Chris MacDonald of Hacks, Rhea Seehorn of Better Call Saul, Danny Strong of Dopesick, Nika King of Euphoria, Paul Ben-Victor of Pam & Tommy, and Kate Burton of Dropout were among the list of celebs that stopped by over the course of the two-day gifting lounge.
A ton of brands were on hand to provide food and drinks, beauty products, clothing, home decor, and artwork; along with a trip to the Dominican Republic courtesy of Casa de Campo Resorts & Villas, a 5-day African Safari trip in East Africa courtesy of Lush Africa Safaris, and a 5-night stay at Premier Luxury Turks and Caicos Resort with a private villa at Sailrock Resort. Talk about a score!
Aside from all of the extravagant items present at the event, GBK Brand Bar CEO Gavin Keilly made it a point to give back. The company partnered with Covenant House California and Worthy of Love to provide the invited attendees with the opportunity to be educated about the good work both of these organizations do in the community.
There was even a house DJ at the event spinning music the whole time, making the entire gift lounge one big party.
