Who better to host the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards than an actress and producer? And not just any actress, but Vanessa Hudgens?
MTV announced on Monday (May 23) that Hudgens will be taking center stage to host the award show. This will be Hudgens’ second time hosting for MTV as she’s previously hosted the MTV Movie & TV Awards: Greatest of All Time back in 2020.
Now, the tick, tick…BOOM! star is back and better than ever to host the show next month on June 5th live from the Barker Hanger in Los Angeles. The night will be filled with two shows including the MTV Movie & TV Awards and MTV Movie & TV Awards: UNSCRIPTED all in one epic night!
Hudgens is set to host only the MTV Movie & TV Awards and the host for the UNSCRIPTED show will be announced at a later time.
The shows are sure to be star-studded events, as programs like Spider-Man: No Way Home, Euphoria, and Ru Paul’s Drag Race are all up for golden popcorns. To see the full list of nominees click here.
