Halsey welcomes her first child with boyfriend, Alev Aydin.
On Monday (July 19), the singer posted the exciting announcement to her Instagram, sharing a photo of herself, cradling the baby, with Aydin by her side. She captioned the sweet snap, “Gratitude. For the most “rare” and euphoric birth. Powered by love. Ender Ridley Aydin 7/14/2021.”

The “Be Kind singer announced she was pregnant in January, by surprising fans with a maternity photoshoot, taken by Sam Dameshek, with the caption, “surprise! 🍼🌈👼🏻.”
The life-changing announcement came after she opened up about struggling with endometriosis in 2016. “If any of my fans or followers have #endometriosis having a rough time today. laying in bed thinking of you,” says the artist on Twitter about the disorder that causes pregnancy complications.

In 2018, The singer sat down with The Doctors to discuss the effects endometriosis has had on her body and how it caused a miscarriage while on her first tour.
“When I finally got my endometriosis diagnosis, I was with Dr. Alibadi, she took one look at me, and I explained her my symptoms, and she said, “You have endometriosis,” the singer explained. “A couple of months later, I was on tour, I found out I was pregnant. And before I can really figure out what that meant to me, what that meant for my future, for my career, for my life, my relationship, the next thing I knew, I was on stage miscarrying, in the middle of my concert.”
