In 2017, we absolutely lost our minds after watching Cole defeat a satanic cult that his hot babysitter Bee belonged to in The Babysitter on Netflix. Now, three years later and just in time for this year’s spooky szn, the streaming platform released the franchise’s highly-anticipated sequel The Babysitter: Killer Queen earlier this month, and Cole once again has to outsmart the forces of evil.
Set two years after defeating a satanic cult led by his babysitter Bee, The Babysitter: Killer Queen follows Cole (Judah Lewis), as he continues to be haunted by the horrific events of that night. Everyone in his life thinks he has lost his mind since Bee and all of her friends disappeared, making Cole’s story hard to believe. He is still hopelessly smitten with his best friend and next door neighbor Melanie (Emily Alyn Lind) – the only one who believes his story – who convinces him to forget the past and come to a party thrown at a nearby lake. But when old enemies unexpectedly return, Cole will once again have to outsmart the forces of evil and survive the night.
Judah Lewis, Emily Alyn Lind, Robbie Amell, Andrew Bachelor, Hana Mae Lee, Bella Thorne, Chris Wylde, and Leslie Bibb are all back and reprising their roles in the sequel, with Jenna Ortega joining the cast as “Phoebe,” a new student that has a connection to Cole that you’ll have to watch the movie to learn more about.
Celeb Secrets sat down with Hana Mae Lee, who plays Sonya, to talk about returning for the highly-anticipated sequel, some of her favorite moments (spoiler alert: Hana did flew her own flame thrower in a can’t miss scene) and her hopes for a third film.
