The long-awaited trailer for the film Don’t Worry Darling starring Harry Styles and Florence Pugh is here and we are losing 😱 our 😱 minds 😱.
The trailer for the film, which was released today (May 2nd), gave fans a taste of what they can expect from the psychological thriller directed by Olivia Wilde.
Pugh’s character, Alice, and Styles’ character, Jack, are a 1950s couple in what seems to be a perfect town. The beginning of the trailer shows the couple happy and in love as Pugh tells Styles, “You and me,” to which Styles responds, “Always. You and me.”
Things seem to take a turn when Pugh’s character, Alice, begins to question the work her husband does. Chris Pine’s character, Frank, is the head of the “Victory Project,” which is what all the husbands in town call their work. As Pugh questions the “Victory Project,” her husband gets increasingly upset and frustrated with her.
Throughout the rest of the trailer, we see Pugh and Styles share some intimate moments. This is all while Pugh believes something more sinister is going on. As she plans to get to the bottom of it, she starts to question herself and begins to see a different side to her “loving” husband.
Don’t Worry Darling is filled with a star-studded cast that includes Gemma Chan, Kiki Layne, Sydney Chandler, and Nick Kroll. Fans can see what unfolds in the film when it is released in theaters on September 23rd.
We can’t get enough of Pugh and Styles acting together!
