Jenny March is going “All In” for her latest single and we’re absolutely loving it.
The 25-year-old singer/songwriter just released her new song “All In” and the sultry tune is actually inspired by the first time she met her now boyfriend and the things that he did to catch her attention.
“‘All In’ is about meeting someone for the first time and immediately you two have a passionate connection,” Jenny tells Celeb Secrets. “There’s something comforting about finding someone who understands you and someone you can go on fun adventures with and just enjoy each other’s company.”
The music video, which dropped last week, is one of Jenny’s most personal, as its inspired by her favorite decade — the 90s. Born in 1995, March brought the nostalgia with her metallic puffer jacket, low rise baggy jeans and bucket hat while paying tribute to Britney Spears and Missy Elliott with choreographed sequences and “robot” backup dancers. “I’ve always wanted to do a 90s inspired visual and this song just seemed like the perfect fit because of the style and production,” she says.
“All In” is the second track off her highly-anticipated debut EP that’s expected to drop in early 2021. “The EP has a total of 6 songs and in one of the songs, I get very emotional and vulnerable in and it might be my favorite off the EP,” March shares.
The song also follows her most recent single “November Nights”, a song about how you can love someone so deeply, even knowing you probably shouldn’t be with this person, and yet you are still somehow addicted to making it work, longing for their love and validation; and 2019 power ballad “Rebound”, a tune about honoring her self-respect over the love of a man and refusing to be the rebound of a crush. Since bursting onto the scene with her debut single “California Daze” in 2018, March has continued to “do her” with releases like “FUWY” about getting lost in the moment with the person you want the most and the sun-soaked “Talk To Me” about indulging in a good time.
While battling COVID-19, March virtually chats with Celeb Secrets to dive deep into the creative process behind “All In,” her upcoming music, and more.

Celeb Secrets: We’re so happy that your new single “All In” is finally here! Can you tell us about the meaning behind it?
Jenny March: “Aw, I’m so happy that I get to do another interview with you guys! ‘All In’ is about meeting someone for the first time and immediately you two have a passionate connection. There’s something comforting about finding someone who understands you and someone you can go on fun adventures with and just enjoy each other’s company.”
CS: What were some of your favorite memories from recording the song?
JM: “‘All In’ was the first song I recorded in my new home studio and that was pretty exciting! The song was finished in late February of 2020, perfectly in time for the start of Quarantine, which I had no idea was coming. I co-wrote the track with Alex “Knox” Harris, who also produced it. Mike Onufrak then mixed it and Ryan Schwabe mastered it. During sessions, Knox and I love to make classic, but extremely yummy turkey sandwiches and I made us a great one that day which I think is why we came out with such a banger. Haha! Whenever I’m looking for lyric inspiration, I usually go to the bathroom, as funny as that sounds, and something pops up. It’s strange, but true. (:”
CS: You just dropped the music video for the track and we’re absolutely loving it! We know that it is inspired by the 90s and you’ve even said that you “channel your inner Britney” in it. Talk to us about the concept behind the visual and how everything came into place?
JM: “The concept came after the song was finished and I was starting to look for a music video director. I’ve always wanted to do a 90s inspired visual and this song just seemed like the perfect fit because of the style and production. It’s a great song to dance too! I grew up watching Britney Spears and Missy Elliot’s performances and videos and I really wanted to pay homage to both queens.”
CS: We know that you were also very hands on when putting together your looks – what was your favorite look that you wore in the video?
JM: “Yes I styled myself for the video. 🙂 I love styling! And gosh, ALL OF THEM. Lol I love the fire leather pants outfit so much, and the opening white look because that was my favorite hair look. I also love the metallic puffer jacket and low rise baggy jeans look because it fits my personality so perfectly. I’ve always been a tomboy. I can’t choose honestly.”
CS: Do you have any behind-the-scenes secrets from filming the video that we wouldn’t know when watching it?
JM: “That’s a good question.. I slipped, but caught myself before I fell while shooting the dance segment. We had wet the floors for a reflection/mirror look and I had never danced on a wet floor before and when I did one of the moves I almost landed on my butt. That would have been bad. It also only took 8 hours to shoot, which is WILD. Normally it takes about 12 hours to shoot a video like this.”
CS: “All In” is the second song off your upcoming EP coming next year. Can you give us any more updates on what it will sound like/when you think you’ll be releasing it?
JM: “I’ll be releasing the EP in early 2021 and I can’t freaking wait. I recently tested positive for COVID though and it messed up my schedule a bit. :/ I was supposed to shoot the album artwork before I left LA for the holidays, but now I have to shoot it come January. Thankfully my symptoms weren’t bad and I am ok now! The EP has a total of 6 songs and in one of the songs, I get very emotional and vulnerable in and it might be my favorite off the EP.”
CS: If you could describe your new music in three words, what would they be?
JM: “Sheesh. If I had to choose.. Confident, innovative, and passionate.”
