Tattoo model and content creator Heidi Lavon is using her platform to demand a more inclusive future for fashion…one where diversity isn’t a trend, but the standard.
“I didn’t see anyone like me in magazines growing up,” Lavon told Celeb Secrets. “That made me feel like I didn’t belong. I want to change that for the next generation.”
Best known for her bold ink, body-positive messaging and unapologetic presence online, Lavon has become an unexpected but powerful voice for change in an industry still criticized for its narrow beauty standards. She regularly speaks out against tokenism and calls for brands to cast models of all shapes, backgrounds, and identities—not just during themed campaigns.
Her advocacy began on social media, where Lavon amassed over 1 million followers by sharing not only her modeling work but also her unfiltered views on identity, inclusion, and the mental toll of being typecast.
“Being tattooed shouldn’t exclude you from luxury or high fashion,” she said. “Neither should your size, gender identity, or skin tone. It’s all connected.”
Lavon has collaborated with inclusive brands such as Dolls Kill and Inked Magazine and recently launched her own project aimed at spotlighting marginalized creators in beauty and fashion. She also mentors emerging models, helping them navigate an industry that still often favors the conventional over the authentic.
