When we found out that Hunter Hayes would not be performing at LP Field at CMA Fest this year, we were super bummed. But knowing Hunter, we knew that the GRAMMY nominated artist wouldn’t let country music fans down by not performing at least one song during the festival! This year, Hunter Hayes fans got real lucky.
The 23-year-old Warner Nashville recording artist dropped hints on his Twitter page in regards to having a “secret show” during country music’s biggest event of the year. To unlock the day and location, fans had to solve numerous riddles and clues posted on Hunter’s Twitter page and even listen for a secret code on Spotify. After countless clues, Hayes’ fans figured out the time and location for this secret show and packed the venue before it was at capacity.
At 6:30pm, Hunter made his way to the stage on the top floor at Acme Feed & Seed in Downtown Nashville. Fans were waving their glow sticks and were completely ecstatic when Hunter began to perform. The “I Want Crazy” singer sang his latest single “21,” songs off his new sophomore album Storyline, and fan favorites including “Wanted” and “I Want Crazy.”
