“Hustle” Stars Adam Sandler And Juancho Hernangomez Reunite In LA

Stanley Sugerman and Bo Cruz are back together.

Adam Sandler and Juancho Hernangomez, stars of the 2022 Netflix movie Hustle, reunited at the Lakers vs. Grizzlies game at Crypto.com Arena on Tuesday (March 7). They weren’t putting up shots in a Philadelphia gym or running through city streets, but the two embraced and shared a conversation courtside on Pau Gasol‘s jersey retirement night in LA.

The film, which followed Sandler’s character Sugerman through his discovery and training of Spanish NBA hopeful Cruz (played by Hernangomez), received critical acclaim, garnering a 93% on Rotten Tomatoes and 10 awards nominations. It also stars NBA players such as Anthony Edwards and Kenny Smith in addition to Queen Latifah, who was nominated for a People’s Choice Award for her performance.

Also the star of films such as Uncut Gems, The Waterboy and Happy Gilmore. Sandler is a huge sports fan and has worked with athletes in plenty of movies, so seeing him and Hernangomez continue to have a thriving relationship is a good sight. His newest movie, Murder Mystery 2 with Jennifer Aniston, premieres March 31.

Hernangomez, who played with Gasol on the Spanish National Team from 2017-2021, was waived by the Raptors in February and remains a free agent. He averaged just under three points and rebounds in 14 minutes a game with Toronto.
