Pete Davidson seems to have called Kim Kardashian his “girlfriend” just ahead of Valentine’s Day.
The 28-year-old SNL star sat down with People to talk about his upcoming Hellman’s Mayo Super Bowl LVI commercial, which later turned into the comedian gushing about his leading lady.
People TV‘s Kay Adams quickly noticed a Kardashian candle while Davidson was giving a tour of his room that located on the comedian’s dresser. When Adams asked Pete about the candle, he tried to brush it off with a smile saying, “Yes.. yes it is!”
Adams also asked about his skyrocketing fame, to which Davidson responded saying, “I don’t have Instagram or Twitter or any of that stuff. So, most of my daily life is getting into cars and showing up to a set. Or, if I’m off, we’re just either hang with my friends or chill with my girlfriend inside. So, I don’t do much.”
You read that right — Pete Davidson officially used the term “girlfriend” to refer to Kim Kardashian.
After mentioning his “girlfriend,” the comedian was asked about his upcoming plans for Valentine’s Day, to which he replied, “I don’t think I’ve ever had a Valentine’s Day thing, really. So, this would be the first year that I am thinking about Valentine’s Day plans, I guess.”
To give you a refresher, Davidson and Kardashian started to make headlines when Kim hosted an episode of SNL in October, where they shared a kiss for a segment. At the time, the two were simply mutual friends. Later in the month, the two were spotted holding hands on a rollercoaster accompanied by Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker.
Following their spotting at Knott’s Scary Farm, the couple made their way to Pete’s hometown, Staten Island, for a few dates before sharing a trip to the Bahamas where they were seen holding hands. The couple has not addressed their relationship to the media… until now.
