It’s over for Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner.
After four years of marriage, Jonas filed for divorce from the Game of Thrones actress today (September 5) in Miami Dade County, Florida stating the marriage between the two is “irretrievably broken,” per court documents obtained by E! News.
The singer is requesting that the two share custody of their two daughters, Willa, 3, and another, 14 months, documented as D.J., even though the kids have been living with Jonas in Miami. The couple’s prenuptial agreement will be upheld.
This comes off the news that Joe was seen wearing his wedding band at their show in Austin, Texas on Sunday (September 3), where Sophie was also seen in attendance.
Rumors started to fly over Labor Day Weekend when TMZ posted that that the singer was looking to file for divorce and PEOPLE reported that that he was talking to two divorce lawyers.
The brothers shared a photo on his Instagram on Labor Day showing Joe clearly wearing his wedding ring saying, “Happy Labor Day weekend everyone. This tour has been incredible so far! Having a little family time in the Texas sunset tonight before a big Austin show tomorrow.”

Soon after, the “Cake By The Ocean” singer posted ANOTHER picture showing off his left band so clearly that the divorce rumors seemed fake.

The two wed in 2019 having two weddings — one wedding in Las Vegas for the Billboard Music Awards and another one a month later at Chateau de Tourreau in the south of France — after being linked together since 2016.
