Jackie Christie Says There’s “A Lot To Unpack” with ‘Basketball Wives’ Season 10B and That Fans “Will Get A Lot Out” of Upcoming Episodes (Exclusive)

The Basketball Wives are headed back to the court.

Angel, Brandi, Brittish, Brooke, Duffey, Jackie, Jennifer, and Malaysia are making their return to our televisions stronger and closer than ever, as the mid-season premiere of the hit reality series airs on VH1 later tonight (February 13).

According to the network, Season 10B picks up right where the last episode left off and the ladies seem to have an unbreakable bond. Loyalty runs deep amongst the group, but even the strongest friendships face obstacles navigating life, love, relationships, conflicts and everything in between, putting their bonds to the test. And when cracks and fractures begin to appear, the ladies soon realize they have to rely on themselves and each other if there’s any chance of winning this game.

“Viewers are gonna be able to see passion, vulnerability… people really showing themselves in a way they haven’t before,” Jackie Christie, wife of Sacramento Kings coach Doug Christie, tells Celeb Secrets reporter Juliet Schroder exclusively in a virtual junket. “They’re going to see me hold people accountable and people trying to call themselves and hold me accountable, so it’s gonna be something.”

In a sneak peek revealed by VH1, Basketball Wives promises to be a season filled with drama, emotions and exciting announcements. They’ll get to see a marriage proposal, chargers for federal fraud, the process of a divorce and even a potential permanent dissolve of one wife’s friendship!

“There’s always going to be ups and downs, trials and tribulations [this season], and I can just say that I do everything out of love. I don’t try to harm anybody, so everybody has to tune in and form their own opinion,” she says passionately. “I do think that fans are going to get a lot out of this season… it’s a lot to unpack.”

This season, fans will also get an inside look at Jackie’s dynamic with husband Doug Christie, who has been busy coaching the No. 3 ranked Sacramento Kings, her budding acting career, as well as keeping the sisterhood together more than ever.

“I’m so hyped for [Doug] and the team,” the 53-year-old said of the Kings’ rankings. “We’re in all these arenas around the country, and people are yelling like the beam in their own arena. It’s the best story in the league right now.”

And while she’s busy launching new projects and her husband is calling plays on the court, Christie says that they work together to “keep their family tight” no matter where they are.

“We’ve always been able to support each other. I travel with him, he travels with me. We help each other out and keep our family tight,” Jackie says about their dynamic.

“If I’m not with them, we’re on FaceTime or we’re on the phone. I find love and balance in achieving things. I make a list every day with goals I want to achieve. We send each other our list and I’ll have it checked off with the little green check, and he’ll reply with the clapping hands. We’re always supporting each other and it’s an amazing situation. We’re 32 years in — 28 years married — so it’s truly awesome.”
