Hong Kong-born rapper, singer, and dancer Jackson Wang is set to guest star on The Late Late Show with James Corden and perform his single “LMLY” (also known as “Leave Me Loving You”) tomorrow, April 21 at 9:37 PM PST.
This would be Wang’s second appearance on the late-night talk show since his first back in 2019, where he and Corden did a fun segment together sharing each other’s cultures including food and lingo in their respective languages.

Wang released “LMLY” last month and is his second solo release this year, the first was his Mandarin single “Alone.” The triple-threat 27-year-old also released a few collaborations including “Magnetic” with Rain, “M.I.A.” with Afgan, and “So Bad” with VaVa.
Along with the single, Wang dropped the beautiful music video for “LMLY,” which is a sequel to his 2020 single with Galantis, “Pretty Please.” He even co-directed and scripted the music video which stars Wang as a busboy who falls in love with one of the restaurant’s regular patrons.
The announcement of Wang’s appearance on the Late Late Show also comes after Marvel and Disney surprise dropped the teaser trailer for their new film, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, which features a song with vocals – that Jackson Wang fans were quick to point out sounded a lot like the Hong Kong-based K-Pop idol.

Although Wang himself has not confirmed that the song in the trailer is his, the official Instagram account for record label 88rising shared the trailer and tagged Wang in the post. 88rising has previously released work done by Wang, so many believe that the label wouldn’t tag the rapper to the trailer if he wasn’t involved.
Make sure to catch Jackson Wang on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Wednesday, April 21. We have a feeling 2021 will be a great year for him!
