Jake Paul And Floyd Mayweather Get Into A Physical Fight At A Press Conference

Jake Paul and Floyd Mayweather caused a huge altercation during a press conference in Miami, Florida.

On Thursday (May 6), YouTube star Logan Paul and professional boxer, Floyd Mayweather, held a press conference for their upcoming boxing match at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida. The Hall of Fame boxer will face Paul for a pay-per-view exhibition fight on June 6 in the Sunshine State.

During the press conference, Mayweather called both Paul brothers, “two fake fighters.” At some point, Jake confronted Mayweather, demanding his own fight with him. During the stand off, Paul grabbed Mayweather’s hat and said, “gotcha hat.” This resulted into Mayweather and his bodyguards lunging at Paul, causing a physical fight and Paul being banned from the boxing event in June. At one point, Mayweather shouted, “I’ll kill you motherf*****.”

The controversial YouTube personality seems to be getting a kick out of this altercation by posting a series of tweets. He tweeted, “Word on the street already is that Floyd is sending goons after me to try and kill me or hurt me if I die……. I died for the hat.”

Paul even went so far as to changing his Twitter name to “GOTCHA HAT,” and started selling hats with the slogan. He even shared a video tweet of him and Mayweather together, with the caption, “this didn’t age well.”

Mayweather told The Athletics, “Jake Paul wanted some attention, and he got it. And so did I.” TMZ interviewed Logan after the altercation and asks whether or not it was staged. “I wish it was staged. That s–t is not funny. It’s not fun for anyone,” Paul said.

The big boxing event will be a pay-per-view telecast on Showtime on June 6.
