Jake Paul Challenges Conor McGregor, Offers Chris Rock and Will Smith $15M to Fight

Jake Paul has had quite an eventful day in attempting to link up with other celebrities.

Recently, the YouTuber-turned-boxer called out UFC champion Conor McGregor and challenged him to a fight, claiming that he would knock McGregor out in the first round.

“I would KO Conor in boxing or MMA,” Paul said. “Right hand of God…Conor is on a downhill spiral. His limbs are all broken. So stand up game, I’m coming out and knocking him out in the first round.”

The news comes around the same time that Paul wrote on Twitter that he would offer Chris Rock and Will Smith $15 million each to settle their bouts in the ring, following their infamous altercation at the 2022 Oscars. The post came as a quote tweet of comedian and Impractical Jokers star Sal Vulcano’s initial tweet.

“I got $15m for Will Smith and $15m for Chris Rock ready to go,” Paul tweeted yesterday morning. “Let’s do it in August on my undercard [sic]”

Paul claimed that the fight versus McGregor would be initiating positive change, including increased wages for fighters. “I’m willing to do the fight in MMA, under the UFC. This is about helping the fighters and making a change. That’s what Conor hasn’t ever done. He’s always been selfish. The fighter pay needs to increase…But I know I can beat Conor.”

Despite his touts, Paul admitted that he hasn’t actually found an opponent as of yet. “We’re in talks with a couple of different people…There’s a long list of people that I want to fight. It depends on who is ready and who can sell the most amount of pay-per-views. As of yet, I haven’t really fought someone with as big of a name as me. I really did all of the promotion, so I want to fight someone with as big of a name as me. And that’s what we’re looking to do.”

What do you think of Jake Paul’s threats to Conor McGregor, and his offering of cash to Chris Rock and Will Smith? Do you think he’s legitimate, or bluffing? Let us know, by either leaving a reaction below or by sending us a tweet at @celebsecrets.
